Dr. Michael Bradshaw

Michael works as a teacher at the Sydney Conservatorium High School where he teaches a variety of music subjects to students from grades 7-12, and assists with the choral program at the school. He completed his Bachelor of Music at the University of Queensland Australia, graduating with first class honours and a University Medal in 2011, having completed a dual specialisation in piano performance and musicology. In 2014 he then travelled to Hungary where he completed an MA in Kodály pedagogy through the Kodály institute of the Liszt Academy of Music. Michael stayed there a further year to work as assistant to the director, Dr. László Norbert Nemes, teaching musicianship classes and conducting the institute choir, as well as completing further studies in conducting, piano, and voice. In 2018 he was awarded a PhD for his research into the music of Sergei Prokofiev, and since 2019 he has been the musical director of the Sydney University Musical Society choir.
