Jason Boron is Lecturer in Music Education at Edith Cowan University in Western Australia. He currently coordinates undergraduate and postgraduate units in music education for pre-service educators. He has experience teaching music in early childhood, primary and secondary schools and tertiary institutions. Previously Jason was a music educator at Presbyterian Ladies’ College, Perth where he established the Music Every Day Program for children pre-Kindergarten to Year 2. He has served in executive roles for the Australian Society for Music Education, is currently the National Vice-President of the Kodaly Music Education Institute in Australia (KMEIA), and coordinates the Australian Kodály Certificate Course in Perth. Jason is a past recipient of the Sárolta Kodály Scholarship awarded by the International Kodály Society. He is a graduate of the Liszt Academy of Music having completed a Master of Arts in Kodály Music Pedagogy (with highest honours).
