Kerryn Vezos has been working as a Primary School (Kodaly Trained) music specialist and early
childhood music educator for over 15 years. She holds both her Primary and Early Childhood Kodaly
certificates, and has presented at a number of Kodaly and Early Childhood Music Conferences in
Australia. Kerryn conducts various choirs, and plays a number of instruments, with Organ and Piano
being her main areas of study. She loves writing and producing musicals and loves to sing.
Kerryn has a great love for children and a passion for music, so combining the two makes for the
perfect job. Her philosophy of teaching is for children to LOVE music, and to love learning, through
song, movement, joy and wonder. She strives to ensure every person she teaches, whether young
or old, can engage with music and feel its power. Kerryn currently works at LORDS, a K-12 College
on the Gold Coast, QLD, where she has been Junior School music coordinator since the school
opened in 2012. She has implemented many musical programs in the school, both choral and
instrumental, but believes in the power of the child’s voice above all else.
